These
industrial strength winches feature machine cut spur gears for accurate
operation and long lasting service. Automatic brake models are available
for constant load control during lifting operations. The zinc and
iridescent dichromate plated finish, combined with stainless steel
fasteners and springs, ensures corrosion resistance. |

Machine

and zinc and iridescent dichromate plated for corrosion resistance.
Drum and frame have a durable paint finish. Handles can be adjusted
in length or moved to the countershaft to rapidly wind or unwind wire
rope. Bronze bearings and radial ball bearings deliver smooth, efficient
operation. Automatic brakes are available for constant load control
during lifting operations. |

all winches except the 465, gears operate in an enclosed oil bath
providing continuous lubrication for minimal wear. A durable paint
finish is combined with zinc and iridescent dichromate plating for
corrosion resistance. Automatic brakes are available for constant
load control during lifting operations. Winches can be field or factory
converted for wall mounting. |

- The National
Safety Council, Accident Prevention Manual for Industrial Operations,
Eighth Edition and other recognized safety sources make a common point:
"All employees working with cranes or hoists or assisting in hooking
or arranging a load should be instructed to keep out from under load.
From a safety standpoint, one factor is paramount: conduct all lifting
operations in such a manner that if there were an equipment failure,
no personnel would be injured. This means keep out from under raised
load and keep out of the line of force of any load. Do not use for raising
or lowering people."

and voids warranty. Power conversion pinions can be furnished as a convenience
to customers but are only intended for the purpose of winding rope without
any load on the hoist.

or hoist is suitably attached to a structure of sufficient strength
before using.

any winching or hoisting equipment.
